The Daily nation news paper in Kenya has reported that around 73 million condoms are distributed free to the people in Kenya in March 2011 alone. Donations form the main source of money for government spending in Madagascar according to a World Bank report.

On the other side, Somalia is facing a big problem of malnutrition where the numbers of child deaths are increasing on a rapid basis.
